Community Initiatives

The NRC strives to achieve excellence in teaching, research and innovation. Through campus-led initiatives and inter-professional collaborations with partners at Brock University, Niagara College and Niagara Health System, we have developed healthcare and quality innovations that make a difference for our students, faculty and healthcare community.

Service-Learning and Community Engagement is an essential part of the Niagara Regional Campus. Our students participate in a variety of activities outside of tutorial and clinical skills that allow them to be connected to the community and hospital system in Niagara. Kidney Day, Patient Partners in Arthritis, Ophthalmology sessions, Radiology teaching and experiences in developmental disability at Bethesda are just some of the unique learning opportunities for our students.
