Founded in 2007, the Waterloo Regional Campus is located in the University of Waterloo Health Sciences Campus at the corner of King and Victoria Streets in the heart of the Innovation District in downtown Kitchener, Ontario.
Built in 2009, our new campus facilities include a complete on-site clinical skills laboratory with 4 skills rooms and 2 observation rooms, classrooms with video-conferencing capabilities and a state-of-the-art anatomy lab that was built in 2013 with a high definition video system.
The Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine Waterloo Regional Campus building is also home to the Centre for Family Medicine (CFFM), a privately operated Family Health Team and the regional site for the McMaster Family Medicine Residency Program, and the University of Waterloo's School of Optometry teaching clinic. The campus also neighbours high-tech companies Google, Communitech, and Desire2Learn.
