The Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University – Waterloo Regional Campus (WRC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Isla McPherson as Assistant Pre-Clerkship Coordinator effective September 1, 2019. Dr. McPherson is a Family Physician at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph, a Public Appointee with Tribunals Ontario and a Licensed Health Professional Consultant with the MOHLTC.
Dr. McPherson will be responsible for the continued local development and operationalization of the Undergraduate Clinical Skills Program program including OSCE’s for Waterloo Campus learners.
Isla replaces Dr. Doug Roach, who has held the position since 2013 and demonstrated great enthusiasm and commitment to advancing clinical skills programming regionally. We thank him for his many contributions in that position.
